Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are a year-round ‘must have’ for the fashion conscious! Lash extensions draw more attention to your eyes than mascara alone, and 24/7, so you’ll look fab when you wake up, after your workout, in the office, on the beach…
One lash at a time, we’ll frame your eyes with a long, thick, luxurious set. Single strands of high quality synthetic lashes are applied onto your natural lashes to enhance and extend. Our lash artists create a bespoke look, using a variety of extensions to build the right volume, length and curl for your unique style.
*Patch test needed for all new clients
The biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even do damage to your natural lashes.
Damage only occurs when the extension is too big/heavy for your natural lash to support, incorrect isolation or excess glue.
Lash extensions are individual synthetic strands, curled like natural lashes – but better! Cluster lashes are made up of 3-4 strands fanning out from a “bulb” glued on to your natural lashes.
So, 3 week lashes are more difficult to blend in with your natural lash line… and they’re usually lower quality, too. You’ll likely find cheaper rates for 3 week/cluster lashes – and if you see them applied, you’ll know why!
With proper care, your extensions will last 3-6 weeks. You should expect to shed most of them throughout the growth cycle of your natural lashes. We recommend coming for infills between 2 - 4 weeks when your extensions begin to look sparse.
Any longer and you will be charged accordingly as more work and more replacement will be needed.
Be warned, lash extensions are incredibly delicate – so give them the TLC they deserve! Exposure to steam or extremely hot water, and touching, picking, or rubbing your lashes can weaken the adhesive bond on your extensions.
Infills are like touch-ups for your extensions. Performed regularly, they’ll keep your lashes looking full and luscious. You may need them more or less often depending on how well you look after your extensions, your natural lash cycle, and the style of your initial set.
Typically, clients get infills every 2-3 weeks, however some clients prefer to replace their full set every 4-6 weeks, which means a full removal and replacement.
No! When properly applied, lash extensions should NEVER hurt! Extensions are applied to your natural lashes, not touching the skin, so you shouldn’t feel a thing. With your eyes closed, you may even find the treatment so relaxing that you fall asleep! Well, you wouldn’t be the first...
You should not feel any pain or discomfort in or around your eyes after the procedure. We’ve seen clients after previous dangerous or poorly applied lash applications performed elsewhere, and they have experienced clumping, pain, discomfort, or damage to their own natural lashes – this is not normal!
You can expect us to be meticulous, concentrated and precise. From design through application, the process will last approximately 120 minutes. So make sure you clear your diary to have enough time to relax and enjoy your treatment
In the majority of cases, most clients’ lashes are good candidates for lash extensions. However, there may be limitations to the type of look achievable if your natural lashes are particularly sparse, fine or curly. For example, a healthy strong straight host lash is needed in order to attach the extension properly and lashes that have severe bends may not be viable for extensions.
Most clients don’t find it necessary to wear mascara with eyelash extensions. Mascara is highly advised against as is all oil-based eye makeup and makeup remover should also be avoided.
Oil based products can dissolve the bonding agent used on your extensions, causing the lashes fall out sooner.
Yes, please! Make sure your eyelashes are squeaky clean – no traces of eye makeup – prior to your appointment. Use an oil-free make up remover if possible, and rinse well.
Any traces of oil or makeup (especially mascara!) will create a barrier between the adhesive and your natural lashes, causing your extensions to drop off prematurely.
